Our story
Celebrating the Love of Horses
Our story began with a question: “Can I have horseback riding lessons for my birthday?”
After some parental debate the answer was yes. And just a few weeks later there was a very happy kid sitting on top of a pony for the first time. Fast forward several years and our “Grand Prix Rider in Training” has moved far beyond a little Shetland pony. Though Shetlands are still considered super cute. And cuddly.
Not so long ago our intrepid Young Rider came home from the barn and asked (requested? declared? It’s hard to tell…) for a t-shirt that said: “Forward is your friend”. And so began our Barn Days collection.
Hawthorn Fields is a family-owned business headquartered in the historic countryside of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. With over two dozen equestrian facilities – training, boarding, rescue, & therapy centers – within a 15 minute drive of our headquarters there is a lot of horsey goodness nearby.
We are so excited to share the humor, joy, and passion of horses and horseback riding with all of you.
