What’s not to love about a Quarter Horse? Versatile, athletic, and (usually) mild mannered. These beauties do really well in Western and English disciplines and make great lesson horses for beginners. Our own Young Rider trained with, showed, and spoiled a lovely Quarter Horse lesson horse before getting her own pony. A few years later he is still teaching new riders and is, in my opinion, the best boy. I give him a treat and wither scratches every time I see him.
